Dr. Zaytoun graduated from the Veterinary College in Egypt in 1985 and earned a Master of Science from the University of Guelph. He was a Previous owner of 2 clinics in Mississauga. Afterward, Dr Zaytoun helped in multiple general practice and emergency clinics. Dr Z, as he is affectionately known, joined our North Town team in 2017. While being a licensed Veterinarian here in Ontario, he has also held a pervious Michigan license and currently holds a license to practice in Florida.
Dr. Zaytoun has a special interest preventative medicine and zoonotic prevention along with dermatology cases. He is appreciated for his careful, thoughtful approach and his genuine commitment to providing compassionate care to every patient he sees.
Beyond his professional commitments, Dr Z is constantly seeking new information to stay at the forefront of veterinary advancements by attending conferences and symposiums.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Zaytoun enjoys exploring new places and spending time near the water with his family and his 2 pets, Toby and Cody.
