North Town Veterinary Hospital’s Community Outreach: A year at a glance by Laura Thompson, Office Manager

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” –Helen Keller

While working at North Town Veterinary Hospital over the past 22 years, I have had the pleasure of being part of the wonderful community of Brampton through the many outreach opportunities the team has supported. This year at North Town has been no different; the team has been busy and brought awareness and donations to many important causes.

The staff has worked hard baking, educating, fundraising, and donating their time and efforts to many important and worthy causes this year. Cupcake Day in support of the OSPCA, Purina Guide Dog Walkathon, bake sales for the kitten foster and adoption program Four Paws One Heart, Paws For Abby- Autism Awareness, Movember -supporting Prostate Cancer Awareness, financial donations for victims of the Ardglen Fire, raising funds for our Hospital OSCAR Fund, the OVMA Farley Fund and helping our “Friends in Need” at the Salvation Army Honey Church Family Life and Resource Centre to name just a few.

Keep your eye on our website www.northtownvethospital.com and our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/NorthTownVet for upcoming events.

I am very proud to be a part of the great work that our Team at North Town Veterinary Hospital does for our Brampton Community and look forward with anticipation to what is to come in 2015!
