I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2000. I was studying Criminology, however, I paid my way through university managing a dog walking business in Toronto. I realized how much I loved not only caring for one's animals but supporting owners in the care of their pets. Instead of pursuing my law career, I pursued my passion for animal care, client care and leadership. I've been in management and lead client service roles in the veterinary industry for over eight years. With this experience, I excitedly took the challenge of leading the client service team at North Town Veterinary Hospital.
I joined North Town Veterinary Hospital in 2016. I was managing a North Town's sister veterinary hospital for several years when the opportunity arose to take my skills, passion and knowledge of the excellent patient and client care to North Town. I jumped at this chance, it was an opportunity to make a difference in everyday client experience within a very busy veterinary environment. My special area of interest is the connection and bond between an owner and their pet. Working with the ability to positively impact the lives of others with compassion and empathy. What interests me the most is supporting clients to provide the best care for their pet. Answering all their questions to the best of my ability, to empower them to know what we can all do to provide the best quality of life for our pets.
The best part of my job is the sharp learning curve of the veterinary industry every day. There is always something new to be learned about how to serve our clients better and care for our patients. My favourite thing about the clinic is the passion, compassion and support of the staff here. I really enjoy working with an entire team that share the mission of caring for all pets, as if they were our very own. Fun fact about myself is that I love sports! I use to play rugby, now I'm an avid spectator of lacrosse. Also, our first family dog growing up was Chips, he was a Terrier mix.
End of school is here! As a mum of two young boys, we live in our little park. Dogs pass through with their owners enjoying an evening walk, the kids are playing grounders and building sand castles, and the parents are unwinding from a hectic day at work and after-school activities.

For the safety of yourself, our staff, and the community, clients will not be allowed to enter the building. We have initiated a Closed-Door Policy, we have locked our front doors. Please call 905-451-2000 when you arrive for your appointment. We will meet you outside to get your pet. The exam will take place in our hospital and our Doctor will communicate the results of the examination via telephone. You can also place an order for pet food through our Online Store by visiting our website.
- If possible, please call us at 905-451-2000 to let us know you are on the way so that we can be prepared to meet you upon your arrival at the hospital.
- When you arrive, please stay in your vehicle in our parking lot and call 905-451-2000, and we'll come to you.
- If you do not have a phone or your pet's emergency is immediately life-threatening, please come to the front door and ring the bell.
